I recently took a short break at RVHotels Hotel Ametlla Mar, and the experience was quite different from what I'd expected. While the exterior has a stark resemblance to a prison, the interior tells a different story. Walking into the spa immediately embraced me with tranquility. The heated swimming pool felt divine, and the sauna and Turkish baths provided a welcome escape from the outside world. As a fashion photographer who seeks out unique experiences, I appreciate a good blend of luxury and mindfulness, and this place certainly delivered that during my short stay. The fitness centre was adequately stocked if you're looking to maintain your routine, though you might find some equipment not up to speed. Though the beach could use some attention, the pool area was lovely-a perfect suntrap for those lazy afternoons. It's worth noting that the hotel is somewhat removed from town, but the overall serenity here might be what you're looking for. I suggest giving it a shot if relaxation is what you seek.
